Cynthia Stamper Graff

Cynthia Stamper Graff is President and CEO of Lindora, Inc., which owns eight retail clinics – the topic she visited Zócalo to discuss. Graff, born in Alaska and raised in California, told us a bit more about herself before her talk began.

Q. What music have you listened to today?

A. Oldies but goodies – the Sound of the Sixties.

Q. What is your favorite word?

A. Yes.

Q. When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A. An archaeologist.

Q. What is your favorite cocktail?

A. Old Fashioned.

Q. If you could take only one more journey, where would you go?

A. Paris.

Q. What is your favorite thing about Los Angeles?

A. The people.

Q. What is your fondest childhood memory?

A. Fishing for catfish in the Mississippi with my grandfather.

Q. What is your most prized material possession?

A. A first edition of Think and Grow Rich.

Q. What promise do you make to yourself that you  break the most often?

A. That I’ll go to the gym five times a week.

Q. What should you throw away but haven’t been able to part with?

A. A third of my closet. The clothes from 1985 with the big shoulders.

Q. Who is the one person living or dead you would most like to meet for dinner?

A. Ayn Rand.
