One of the Best Books Ever Written About Richard Nixon

As Richard Nixon turns 100, Zócalo asks if the only native Californian who made it to the Oval Office just might deserve another look. “Is It Time to Rethink Nixon?” features Jeffrey Frank, author of the new book Ike and Dick: Portrait of a Strange Political Marriage–with Tim Naftali, recent director of the Nixon Presidential Library–at the Goethe-Institut Los Angeles on Tuesday, February 12.

The New Yorker just called Ike and Dick “one of the best books ever written about Richard Nixon.”

But without the Los Angeles Times, we might not even have a Nixon worth writing books about, as Frank explains in a Zócalo essay.
