Interns are an essential part of Zócalo’s close-knit team. We’re looking for intellectually curious students and recent graduates who are passionate about democratizing ideas, creating community, and learning what it takes to run a thriving civic nonprofit.
Interns support Zócalo staff across the organization, including events, journalism, and general operations. Interns lead our grassroots audience building, staff all Zócalo events, and provide research support. This is a unique opportunity to join an L.A. institution that partners with some of the country’s most prestigious intellectual enterprises.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and start dates are flexible. Internships are unpaid. Please note that due to the high volume of applications, only interns selected for interviews will be contacted.
Interested applicants should send a cover letter and resume to firstname.lastname@example.org.
