The Alabama Coalition for Immigrant Justice held a rally Monday to launch a campaign for the repeal of Alabama’s anti-illegal immigration law, HB-56. I attended the event, held at the historic Sixteenth Street Baptist Church, in Birmingham. Approximately 2,000 people attended, according to the organizers. Here are some pictures.
