Zócalo Announces Bianca Collins as Director of Public Programs

Collins Emerges From the Los Angeles Art World and Into the Ideas Journalism of Zócalo

Zócalo Public Square is pleased to announce the appointment of Bianca Collins as its Director of Public Programs.

Collins brings years of experience working as a curator, an art consultant, and a writer. Most recently she served as curator of public programs at UCLA’s Fowler Museum. There she developed a series of programs called “Share the Mic” which brought together artists, activists, and allies for justice; and commissioned a performance piece with Patrisse Cullors, “A Prayer for the Runner,” a public act of mourning that honored Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and …
