I’m a drummer—self-taught. I’ve been drumming for 16 years. I’m waiting for it to actually pay off. Hopefully I’ll get a big break.
I usually listen to music on the bus. I go to punk rock shows a lot so I try to listen to other music that I find inspiring. I listen to jazz. I also find myself tapping with my hands and feet as if I was drumming. Sometimes I don’t realize how loud I’m doing it sometimes until someone tells me to chill!
Honestly, even if I was a millionaire, I’d still take the bus. I really like that I don’t have to be stuck in traffic. And I get to meet interesting people.
