I’m trying to go back to UCLA. I left college a couple of years ago in order to take care of my family and deal with some health issues. I just visited the UCLA campus to meet some counselors and make a plan.
I’m a native of Los Angeles, born and raised. I talk to a lot of people on the bus. Sometimes, when they see I’m struggling, they’ll encourage me to keep going. I think that’s what life in a city is all about: struggling, and pushing through.
I observe how parts of the city have changed through the windows of the bus, what it used to look like when I was a kid and what it looks like right now.
