I’m coming from work. I’ve been a pastry chef for three months now. I make cobblers, cupcakes, cookies, and everything sweet. I love rolling the dough to make peach cobbler. It requires a lot of patience and practice.
I went to pastry school six years ago. I prayed for six long years that I’d find a good job, and I did. My prayers have been answered. It was very complicated to find a baking job—no one was hiring or wanted to give me a chance. I had my own catering company, but it was tough to find steady work. I’m at a much better place in life now.
