Sometimes when I’m riding the bus, I put my headphones so I can’t listen to other people’s conversations. I play uplifting music to clear my mind and prepare myself mentally for work.
I’m a security officer at the Ports of L.A. in Long Beach where the cruise ships come in. One day, I’d like to work on a cruise ship so I can travel the world. I’ve even heard there’s a cruise for the rich and famous. But we’re all rich and famous in one way or another. There are always people in worse situations than you are.
