I ride the bus because I get really anxious while driving, and the bus stop is really close to my house. But most importantly, my 14-month-old baby loves riding the bus! Today, I want her to have more fun, so I took a longer route that required more buses.
I’ve met a lot of people on the bus from Ilobasco, El Salvador, the city where I’m from. Life in the U.S. is good in many aspects. Working here gives me the power to support my family back home. But then again, I’m so far away from the family I love.
