My Second Job Is Being a Mom

I try to keep my mind as blank as possible on my commute, so I can relax and go on to my second job, which is my home and my duties as a mother and whatnot. Recently, I was surprised to find out that one of my co-workers also rides Metro. We talked all the way home.

Someone on the train once told me, “When you ride the Metro, you know what true life really is, the real world.”
