I’m on my way home to Whittier right now. I work in construction—on houses that get flipped in Highland Park.
I’ve lived in L.A. my whole life, 40-something years. There are a lot of sights I’ve been missing out on—places I’ve always heard about and see out the window, like Chinatown and Little Tokyo.
I usually carry my backpack. It’s got cologne, snacks, water, a backup battery for my phone, and a hat. I listen to music—Christian rock. And I relax.
