I’m going home to Whittier. I work for a photo studio in Culver City. It used to be downtown but recently moved, so now the studio has a shuttle service that picks us up at the Culver City station to make the commute easier.
I like Whittier because it’s less of an actual city than L.A. And it’s home. I tried Montebello once, but I could never get too far away. When you’re growing up, you think that you hate where you live, but then you realize that you don’t want to leave, either.
